Yes. The Demo plan is always free and does not require a payment card. Paid self-serve Standard and Pro plans are available when you are ready to scale.
If the file and settings (languages, voice, scope) are the same, SonikaAI may reuse a saved copy of a previous run to save time and resources. This does not mean we "trained the AI on your book." For a different result, change language, voice, page scope, or other run settings. Saved copies are removed over time per service policy.
Documents & Formats
SonikaAI supports common text formats (TXT, PDF, DOC, DOCX, EPUB, MD) and audio files (MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG). The document structure stays familiar after processing.
No. Upload files as they are — SonikaAI detects the format automatically (PDF, EPUB, Word, etc.). Files with selectable text work best; image-only scanned PDFs are not supported at this time.
Yes. For PDFs, you choose which pages to translate and voice. If you leave the default, only the first few pages are processed so you can check quality quickly. For the whole book, set the full page range in the app.
By default, SonikaAI processes a preview fragment (EPUB, Word, etc.) or the first few PDF pages so you can judge translation and voice quality. The full text runs only when you explicitly choose full scope or a wider page range in the app before starting. This is not a billing bug — it is the processing scope you selected (or left at the default).
Languages & Voiceovers
SonikaAI supports major global and smaller European languages. Translation and voice providers are selected automatically based on language and plan.
AI voice-over turns text into natural-sounding speech. Before you start, you choose the voice for the target language — usually a female and a male option; you can preview a sample. Technical details like pacing and pauses are handled by the service.
Yes. All generated audio files are available for download and reuse.
Pricing & Plans
No. A payment card is not required for the Demo plan. It is only needed when you switch to a paid subscription.
Yes. You can upgrade or change your plan anytime in the app. The new price and limits take effect at the start of the next billing period; your current period stays unchanged. Your data and work history remain intact.
They are your total processing allowance for the billing month — like fuel in the tank, not "one whole book per button press." One "book page" in the app is roughly 1200 characters (a guide for comparing to printed books). A large book may need several runs or full-scope choices, depending on file and settings.
